I saw three movies in theaters this past week. Two of them, Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom and Ant Man and the Wasp, I was a little late in seeing but finally managed to make it happen. The other movie I saw was Mission Impossible Fallout starring Tom Cruise and Henry Cavill. I didn’t do a full review for these movies, but I did write out my overall thoughts on them all.

While the movie doesn’t focus on the murders, it does provide a look into the time period. Also stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt.

Wicked and the Wallflower by Sarah Maclean

Fast-paced, charming, and dynamic, Wicked and the Wallflower was an absolute delight to read! The prologue opens like a fairytale, though a much darker and sordid telling of one. But the words themselves, the tangled story they described, instantly drew me in, and thankfully, that first impression was quickly backed up with brilliant, in-depth characterization and rich, vibrant setting details. Overall impression? Sarah Maclean hit it out of the park with this book.

Captivated by Tessa Bailey and Eve Dangerfield

Secret aspiring comedian Autumn Reynolds is a girl gone…not wild exactly. More like lazy. Since her boyfriend abandoned her in New York City for a bunch of improv groupies she’s had two priorities; sucking the nitrous out of whipped cream cans and making sex comics about her mysterious landlord.

Blake hates people—and sunlight—with good reason. Imagine his surprise when he finds himself lusting after his upstairs tenant, a sunny, Australian people pleaser down on her luck. Turns out his ability to terrify with a single scowl comes with an advantage. Autumn seems to like it. A lot. As evidenced by the prisoner-captive comic Blake was never meant to see.
