BOOK REVIEW
I liked this story. It was short, only about 60 pages, but it was well-written, and the characters were interesting. I think, had it been longer, more depth to the characterization of the two would have been needed and a bit more backstory for their attraction as well, but for what the author wrote here, it was pretty good.
The forbidden angle to the romance was handled well, as was the secret crush and virgin heroine tropes. I do think the daddy kink was a bit much for this particular short read, as it wasn’t really needed or it needed more of a build up than what it got, but overall, the story was good, and I enjoyed reading it.
I don’t recall if I’ve read this author’s work before, but since I enjoyed this story, I plan to continue with the series and then maybe dig into the author’s backlist to see what else they have on offer.
