The McNeill Magnates #7
4.5 out of 5 stars

I loved Jillian and Cody’s story!

Jillian Ross is a cancer survivor and a woman who is desperate to live her dreams by traveling as much as she can. When she accepts a scout assignment to get wealthy rancher Cody McNeill to let them film a movie on his property, she never expected her new life and chosen career path would get so complicated. But it does.

Cody McNeill doesn’t want to risk the privacy of his family for the sake of a film, but Jillian is persistent and determined to get what she wants—even if she has to get it through his brother and the rest of the family. What Cody doesn’t count on, however, is getting involved with Jillian on a personal level. But he does.

Personal conflicts, family secrets, unexpected passion, unintended consequences, and plenty of romance, drama, and mystery are abound in author Joanne Rock’s The Forbidden Brother. The story is rich in detail, populated with an intriguing cast of characters, and filled to the brim with realistic and deep-seated emotions and conflict.

Written by a skilled and talented author who knows how to weave every ounce of tension and drama into a romantic plot, The Forbidden Brother takes readers into the heart of the Wyoming McNeill family and rustles up the secrets they hold inside. Beautiful, heartfelt, and entertaining, The Forbidden Brother is an exciting addition to The McNeill Magnates series as it firmly sets the stage for all the drama and romance to come.

If you’re like me and you love family drama, sizzling romance, and soap-opera style plotlines, this is a book and series you need to check out. And if you do, rest assured because the next book in the series, Wild Wyoming Nights, just hit e-book retailers and will arrive in print at bookstores on August 7th.
