I loved this novella! It had two fantastic characters who I immediately wanted to root for and some smoking hot sex scenes that made me want to find my an Aaron of my own.
Aaron Robinson is a no-nonsense cop who has wanted his sister’s best friend, single mom Marceline Bellini, since she was seventeen years old and tried to seduce him. The timing never seemed quite right, though, what with her being so young and later marrying the a guy Aaron never thought deserved her, but now that it appears she’s ready for more, Aaron is bound and determined to make her his.
While the sex is spicy hot between Aaron and Marcy, Aaron wants more than that. He wants something real. Yet, thanks to Marcy’s failed marriage, and her fear of screwing up her daughter’s stable life, it takes some doing for Aaron to convince the woman to give them a true chance. Aaron refuses to walk away without a fight, though, something Marcy soon comes to appreciate about him.
This was a great love story. Hot, with a really solid romance. It’s was the perfect bridge between the first book, In Bed With Mr. Wrong, and the next book, Falling For His Best Friend (out May 19th).
