A sexy category romance from Entangled’s Brazen imprint…

When fantasy and reality collide…

There’s nothing like a near death experience to make a guy reassess his life. And that’s exactly what nightclub owner Logan McCabe decides to do, starting with looking up the girl he spent one wild night with eleven years ago, right before his life turned to crap. He spent a year fantasizing about her. Now he’s ready to see how reality matches up.

Imogen Parker is a perfectionist. She’s only strayed from the straight and narrow once in her life, on her eighteenth birthday. It was supposed to be one wild night with a totally unsuitable man before she settled into her sensible future. Instead it changed her life forever.

Logan might still be the sexiest man Imogen has ever seen, but a dirty-talking, tattooed, ex-con is the last thing she needs in her perfect life. He claims she’s his fantasy girl, but what he doesn’t know is she’s also the mother of his ten-year old daughter…

First Impression: Extremely well-written with an engaging and dynamic hero.

I seriously, hardcore, loved this story. Not only did it combine a few really great tropes—one night stand, secret baby, different worlds—but it also had a hero and heroine that rocked some mega-hot scenes together.

Logan McCabe is a bad boy ex-con who’s managed to turn his life around in the past decade, but a near death experience makes him long for the woman who got him through some of the darkest days  of his life—his fantasy girl, Abigail Parker. The woman who gave birth to the daughter he didn’t know he had.

Now in the past when I’ve read stories with these particular elements, I’ve always been weary of them, sometimes outright avoiding them, but this particular book combines things in a way that made me absolutely fall in love with the characters–and with the story. I get why Abby did what she did, and I get why Logan held onto the fantasy image of her for all of these years, too. The author did a phenomenal job bringing all the story elements of this book together and creating an unforgettably hot read with some fantastic emotional depth to the characters.

I love, love, love this story, and I so dig Logan. I love his bad boy exterior and his good man heart. He’s exactly the kind of guy I would want for his newly discovered daughter and for a woman like Abby, and vice versa. They fit so well together, and the story flowed effortlessly, making for a fast-paced and wholly magnetic read.

Do yourself a favor and read this book, folks. It’s got everything you’d want in a traditionally plotted romance, and yet, it’s done in such a fantastic and memorable way.

I loved it!
