I absolutely loved Duke of Pleasure! The heroine, Alf, is unique and completely endearing right from the start. She’s smart, loyal, trustworthy, brave, and so kindhearted, and her back story is not only compelling but also fascinatingly intriguing.
I loved Alf’s chemistry with Hugh. While he’s a cynic and she’s a free-spirit, they made for such a fun and entertaining couple. Not only did they both stand out as phenomenal characters in their own right, but together they were a true gem and an utter delight to read.
Whether you’ve loved the Maiden Lane series from the start or only recently picked it up, you won’t go wrong in reading Duke of Pleasure by Elizabeth Hoyt. It’s a fabulous book with one of a kind characters in a wonderfully fun and engrossing storyline, with brilliantly cultivated setting that draws you right in and refuses to let you go.
This one is a keeper, folks. Highly, highly recommend checking it out!
