When Honey Perribow traded in her cowboy boots for stilettos and left her small Kentucky town to attend Columbia University, she never expected to find a dirt-cheap apartment or two new best friends. No stranger to hard work, Honey is completely focused on her medical degree … until she sees newly minted professor Ben Dawson, and her concentration is hijacked. Honey is fascinated by her gorgeous young English professor and vows to find a crack in his tweed-wearing, glasses-clad exterior.

At an off-campus party, an accident lands Ben in a dark, locked closet with a sexy-sounding Southern belle … and their chemistry is explosive. But when he discovers that the girl in his arms is the same beautiful student he can’t stop thinking about, he is stunned. Student-teacher relationships are strictly forbidden … yet no matter how hard he tries, Ben can’t stay away from Honey.

And when his attempt to fight their attraction nearly ruins the best thing that ever happened to him, Ben will do anything to prove how much he needs her.

mythoughts

If you love your new adult romance with a hefty helping of forbidden love topped off with a mega-sized scoop of dirty-talking hero and a strong, humorous heroine then this is the romance for you.

Ben Dawson is my favorite kind of romance hero. He tries so hard to do the right thing, to do the controlled, adult thing, but then out of nowhere comes this sweet, seductive girl, Honey Perribow, and next thing poor Ben knows, he’s in over his head and trying to figure out which way is up and which was is down. Not that Ben needs much help with up and down, mind you, because holy moley, he knows what he’s doing. But the guy is a little bit mixed up on what he needs and doesn’t need in his life. Luckily, he figures it out fairly quickly. Which is just in time for my new book boyfriend to amp up his sweet and dirty-talking ways. Honestly, poor Honey never stood a chance after meeting Ben and gaining his notice. No woman I know would actually. He’s a naughty-talk hero for the ages.

This book is compelling, well-written, and HOT. Professor/student hot. Older man/younger woman hot. Dirty-talking hero hot. Yes, Ben nearly mucked things up with his screwed up belief-system, but despite a few momentary asshole-ish decisions on his part–and on Honey’s, too–Ben still managed to become one of my all-time favorite romance heroes and Honey one of my all-time favorite heroines. And believe me, that is not an easy feat to achieve. Because I’m picky, and I want to be drawn in, taken on a journey and shown exactly why I needed to invest my time and emotions in these people. This book proves not only was my time, money, and emotion well-invested, but also that Tessa Bailey more than deserves her spot on my auto-buy list.

If you haven’t bought this book or any other Tessa Bailey book and you love forbidden love stories with dirty-talking heroes, and spunky, southern heroines, do yourself a favor and pick up Need Me today. It’s available in both print and e-book formats and it is well, well worth your investment (time, money, and emotion).
