Wasted Love with You REVIEW
WASTED LOVE WITH YOU
AUTHOR WHITNEY G INTRODUCES READERS TO A NEW EPISODIC SERIAL READ
Wasted Love with You by Whitney G is the first book in the author’s brand new contemporary, light erotic romance series, Wasted Love. This series is presented in episodes and does end on a cliffhanger because the full story is still being told, and told well.

RATING:

The last time my husband gave me an orgasm was … Well, that's never happened.
And from the way our marriage is crumbling under the weight of his lies, it never will.
Alas, after fighting like hell for a divorce, I promise myself that I'll never waste love on anyone else.
I don't even want to 'date' anyone else.
But that's until I literally run into a man who leaves me breathless at first sight, a man who etches his way into my memory with nothing more than a single smile and a question.
He's an enigma who doesn't want to give me his first name—a man who has more secrets than answers—and from the sexy smirk on his lips, I know that I should stay far away from him.
I try to keep my distance, but he pursues me anyway ...
When he offers me a job I can't refuse, I throw caution to the wind and take a chance.
I should've thought about this a little more.
Little do I know, this man is about to take me on a dangerous ride that might cost me everything.

BOOK REVIEW
It’s been a long time since I delved into an episodic serial fiction story because I usually prefer my romance novels wrapped up in one go. But I have to say, Wasted Love with You was so well-written, fast-paced, and engaging that I found I couldn’t put it down. I adored the characters, the mystery, the steam, and the episodic writing style. Every chapter has an end hook that keeps you reading until the last page, and then the author deftly leaves you dying to read the next book in the series.
I will say, I caught on fairly early to one part of the story, so when it happened, I wasn’t overly surprised by its appearance. That likely has to do with my longtime love and devotion to daytime and primetime dramas. But even knowing it was coming, I still enjoyed the hell out of its arrival, and that is pure testament to the author and her skill at storytelling. So, if you love a good drama and a somewhat soap opera style of storytelling, I suspect you will love this, too.
As for the characters, they were on point. A disillusioned woman who needs a little excitement and mystery in her life, that hint of danger and lack of safety. A powerful man who goes after what he wants, no matter the cost, and seems to live his life in various shades of gray. He is a big mystery, and to a woman who craves excitement, he’s a headrush of epic proportion. She doesn’t know who he is, but she knows she wants to, and she knows she can’t walk away even though a part of her fears she needs to.
Overall Thoughts: A great, fast-paced, one-sitting read. Amazing characterization. Easy, addictive writing style. A magnetic, immersive story that will make readers long for the next book in the series. I loved it!
