BOOK REVIEW
The Rivals of Casper Road by Roan Parrish is the fourth book in the author’s Garnet Run series, with the first two books published by Carina Press and the latest two books published through Harlequin Special Edition.
I really enjoyed the relationship that Bram and Zachary built in this story. Though the book contained a lighthearted rivalry between them, there was a deeper underlying intimacy and friendship that wove itself through every interaction. And with every chapter, the two men grew closer and learned so much more about themselves, each other, and their own world views. The side characters were fun to revisit as well, and I loved the whole Halloween competition. The story and characters made me long for some crisp autumn breezes and scary movies.
If you’re looking for a lighthearted, well-written m/m romance that focuses on friends and family and a love of community, The Rivals of Casper Road might just be the book for you.
