Book Summary
The last thing Brett Ross wants is to be back in the same old damn small town he grew up in, but his best friend is getting married, so there’s no way he’s skipping yet another visit back home. He knows what he’s getting into, coming back here, but the one thing he didn’t count on was the way Anna Hamilton made him feel the first time he sets eyes on her…and she’s all grown up.
Anna’s always been in love with Brett, even if she’s always been his best friend’s annoying little sister to him. But when he looks at her, she doesn’t see annoyance in his eyes anymore. If anything, she sees a silent calling for her to save him from himself…and she’s just the girl to do it. All she needs is to find a way to escape her pesky, protective older brothers…
And then the game is on.

My Thoughts
*ARC provided by Publisher*
I really enjoyed The CEO’s Seduction by Diane Alberts. The story flowed really well and the characters were interesting and compelling. I really liked the hero and heroine, Brett and Anna, but I have to admit, I wanted to smack all four of Anna’s brother’s more than once. They annoyed the heck out of me, which just goes to show how skilled this author is at creating characters that elicit strong emotional reactions from her readers.
In the story, Brett Ross comes back to his hometown to attend his best friend’s wedding, and though he isn’t too keen on being back in the town that holds so many bad memories for him, he doesn’t mind reconnection with his best friend’s sister, Anna, again. She’s a bright spot in his otherwise dismal childhood and he cherishes the moments they had together, even if he can’t be the kind of man who deserves to share those moments with her now.
Anna Hamilton has been in love with Brett since she was a kid, but thanks to her annoying brothers, they’ve always tried to keep her away from him. Or, at least, him away from her. And despite her being grown up now, they still want to keep her and Brett apart, only this time…Brett isn’t actually staying away.
The CEO’s Seduction was a quick, fast-paced, well-written best friend’s little sister romance. The story and characters caught my attention right away and managed to hold it throughout the story. Even when I wanted to smack Anna’s four brothers around a bit, I enjoyed what I was reading. I’m also curious to see what becomes of Anna’s brothers and if they will all be able to redeem themselves. Something tells me they will.
