A Million Kisses In Your Lifetime ~ New Release Review
A MILLION KISSES IN YOUR LIFETIME
A Million Kisses in Your Lifetime by Monica Murphy is now live!
New York Times bestselling author Monica Murphy takes you back to the Lancaster Prep world with a sizzling enemies to lovers romance. Readers familiar with that previous book will recognize some of the characters here, though this story can be read and enjoyed as a standalone read.
A Million Kisses in Your Lifetime is set in the same world as the Murphy’s Things I Wanted To Say. It is an upper young adult/new adult romance with a lot of heart and spicy heat mingled alongside deep layers of characterization, romance, and conflicts. Some parts of this story could be triggering for more sensitive readers, and the main characters’ ages could factor in as well, as they are seventeen and eighteen in the story and there are mature sexual scenes between them. So, be aware of that before going into read this one, if that is something that you tend to avoid in your fiction reads.
I received an advanced reading copy (ARC) of this book from the author, publisher, or publicist. The receipt of this ARC did not influence my choice to review the book on this site. It also did not influence how I felt about the book or its characters, storyline, and overall feel. The opinions expressed in this review are my own. As such, they only deal with what is written on the pages of the book and how what is written and otherwise presented made me feel during and after my reading of the book.

Wren Beaumont is many things.
At Lancaster Prep, the girls love her. They all want to be her friend. Only I see Wren for who she really is.
A repressed little virgin who keeps her feelings locked up so tight she’s probably close to bursting. She thinks she’s above us all.
I shouldn’t be drawn to her. She’s not my type.
Until we’re forced to work together in class and realize we might have more things in common than we originally thought. Soon enough I find myself completely obsessed. I will do anything for this girl to make her fall in love with me.

In A Million Kisses in Your Lifetime, Crew is trying to find a way to get Wren to acknowledge him while Wren is trying to do her best to ignore him. They are opposites but are soon thrust together for a school project, which forces them to get to know one another. Wren, the innocent and sheltered good girl, and Crew, the privileged, brooding bad boy, have a lot more in common than either one of them think, and it was so nice to see that play out between them.
This is a dual first-person perspective book, so we get both Wren and Crew’s viewpoints throughout the story. Readers should take note that Crew is a high school bully who does everything he can to push Wren’s buttons, but he’s also hiding an intense attraction to her, and Wren to him. Which makes for an interesting push-pull tension throughout the story.
Fast-paced, well-written, and magnetic, A Million Kisses in Your Lifetime is a book that is sure to satisfy any longtime Monica Murphy fan as well as delight any new readers the author picks up through this release. It has a little bit of everything we devoted romance readers crave. Heart, heat, and passion, family and friendship, power and control, money, trust, love, acceptance, individuality, and so much more. The characters are dynamic, the storyline engaging, and the romance will pull you right in and having you sighing right alongside the characters.
If you’re looking for a deeper kind of love story with amazing characterization and storytelling ability, I highly recommend checking this one out. It’s a gem read.
