Review: Cupid is a Liar by Lexi Davis
CUPID IS A LIAR REVIEW
A Spicy Stalker Valentine’s Day Novella
Cupid is a Liar is such a fun and entertaining read. I loved it from the start, and the story kept its promise all the way to the end. It’s fast-paced, with great writing, storytelling, and plenty of in-depth characterization. The author skillfully packed a lot into the book, and all of it makes for a quick, easy, and thoroughly enjoyable one-sitting read.
So, let’s talk about it, shall we?
MY THOUGHTS

In Cupid is a Liar, Damian and Hannah had really great chemistry and an equally great story to showcase it in. They were two halves of a whole, each with their own fears and flaws and reasons why a relationship just didn’t work for them in the past.
As a reclusive hacker and secret landlord, Damian doesn’t recognize how long he’s shut himself off to the world. That is, until he witnesses his tenant Hannah about to place herself in danger over a failed Valentine’s Day date. Damian quickly steps in to help her but only after does he realize that by stepping in he risks exposing one of his most closely guarded secrets—he’s been watching her.
Damian is a morally grey hero with an obsession to know things and a need to keep watch on those he deems “his”. Hannah is definitely his, though she’s the last one to know it. And though she’s had a rough dating history, she’s definitely on the offense in this book. Which makes such a nice, fun contrast to Damian on defense.
If you’re looking for a good, dark, spicy holiday read for Valentine’s Day, definitely check out Cupid is a Liar by Lexi Davis. It’s available now!

I thought the worst thing that could happen on Valentine’s Day was getting stood up.
I was wrong.
When my date ghosts me and I decide to confront him, I don’t expect the night to spiral. I don’t expect danger and I definitely don’t expect the quiet, intense man from down the hall to step in and change everything.
Damian Salvanti is calm under pressure.
Terrifyingly observant.
And far too willing to put himself between me and the world. The more time I spend with him, the more unsettling the truth becomes.
He knows me.
My routines.
My fears.
The things I want but never say out loud.Because Damian hasn’t just been watching out for me.
He’s been watching me…
Cupid Is a Liar is a dark, fast-paced Valentine’s romance featuring an obsessive, morally gray hero who falls first, a heroine who chooses danger over safety, and a love story that blurs the line between devotion and obsession.
