SCORING WITH THE WRONG TWIN hit all the right buttons for me. Compelling characters. Engaging storyline. Easy, natural, almost effortless writing style. And an underlying truth about people and their flaws, fears, and emotional roadblocks to life and love.
Sophia Cruz is a woman who doesn’t yet know her own worth. She lacks the confidence she needs to speak up at work and as such, she holds herself back from enjoying life outside of work because she doesn’t quite know how to relate to other people. She’s smart, funny, and passionate about the things that interest her, and she couldn’t care less about the things that don’t. Or so she thought.
Deep down, Sophia has a secret desire to be as beautiful and as outgoing as her fashion model sister, and it’s that desire that leads her to agree to model in her twin sister’s place. Which is how Sophia meets Zephirin Black, a hunky tight end for the Washington Warriors.
Zeph is a proud man. He knows what it’s like to be lied to and he has no interest in becoming another person’s fool.
