SCORING WITH THE WRONG TWIN is a sexy, passionate love story about an introverted, secret-keeping Apps designer and a hunky football star who values honesty above all else. It’s a story about what happens when secrets become lies and lies become the wedge that keeps two people from finding what—and who—they need the most.
SCORING WITH THE WRONG TWIN
SCORING WITH THE WRONG TWIN hit all the right buttons for me. Compelling characters. Engaging storyline. Easy, natural, almost effortless writing style. And an underlying truth about people and their flaws, fears, and emotional roadblocks to life and love.
Sophia Cruz is a woman who doesn’t yet know her own worth. She lacks the confidence she needs to speak up at work and as such, she holds herself back from enjoying life outside of work because she doesn’t quite know how to relate to other people. She’s smart, funny, and passionate about the things that interest her, and she couldn’t care less about the things that don’t. Or so she thought.
Deep down, Sophia has a secret desire to be as beautiful and as outgoing as her fashion model sister, and it’s that desire that leads her to agree to model in her twin sister’s place. Which is how Sophia meets Zephirin Black, a hunky tight end for the Washington Warriors.
Zeph is a proud man. He knows what it’s like to be lied to and he has no interest in becoming another person’s fool. Yet, even with the doubts and warning signs swirling around Sophia, Zeph can’t bring himself to end the sex-only relationship they’ve begun. But the more time he spends with Sophia, the more time Zeph wants to spend with her…and that’s a big problem for a man who lacks trust in people and has no interest in a serious relationship.

About Naima Simone
USA Today Bestselling author Naima Simone’s love of romance was first stirred by Johanna Lindsey, Sandra Brown and Linda Howard many years ago. Well not that many. She is only eighteen…ish. Though her first attempt at a romance novel starring Ralph Tresvant from New Edition never saw the light of day, her love of romance, reading and writing has endured. Published since 2009, she spends her days—and nights— writing sizzling romances with a touch of humor and snark.
She is wife to Superman, or his non-Kryptonian, less bullet proof equivalent, and mother to the most awesome kids ever. They all live in perfect, sometimes domestically-challenged bliss in the southern United States.

She’s not who he expected, but now he can’t stop wanting her…
Shy, awkward Sophia Cruz has a hard time telling her vivacious identical twin “no.” But when her sister begs her to swap places for a modeling shoot, she caves … again. Then Zephirin Black walks onto the set. The brooding, aloof, and gorgeous tight end for the Washington Warriors. But she can keep it professional… She has to. Because the adorkable Cruz twin has no luck with guys once they compare her to her sister.
After a bad break-up, Zeph hasn’t been big on second chances—and even less with trust. But he finds himself giving please-call-me-by-my-middle-name-Sophia both. The woman he’d dismissed as a spoiled cover model is different from the first time he met her. Quirkier. Funnier. Definitely sexier. What started as one night turns into another…and another…and another…
Still, Sophia can’t go on keeping her secret from him. But telling Zeph the truth will mean losing him for good.
